Meta has updated its WhatsApp Business Messaging ecosystem, requiring all Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to migrate to the **Tech Provider Program** by **June 30, 2025**, to maintain uninterrupted access to WhatsApp services.

The Tech Provider Program simplifies collaboration between ISVs and Infobip by:

- Simplifying account management with shared responsibilities for WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs).
- Improving onboarding with the [sender registration process](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/get-started/embedded-signup.mdx), allowing ISVs to host the signup process directly within their products.
- Providing access to new tools and features for WhatsApp integrations.

To ensure uninterrupted service, follow the steps below and complete your migration before the deadline.

## Register as a Tech Provider

To register as a Tech Provider, follow the steps below:

- Complete the [setup process](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#setup).
    - As an ISV, you likely already have a business portfolio. However, Tech Provider registration requires creating a **new business portfolio** that is explicitly designated as a Tech Provider.
    - This portfolio is distinct from a standard enterprise customer portfolio and must meet the Tech Provider Program requirements.
- Follow the [integration steps](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#integration).

NOTE
If you already have an existing integration with Infobip APIs, such as a contact center, you do not need to make changes to it. If you do not have a user interface for hosting the WhatsApp onboarding process, Infobip can assist. Contact your account manager for support.
