 
The **Tech Provider Program** is an innovative partnership model that enables platforms and **Infobip** to deliver a robust WhatsApp solution. In this model, platforms act as WhatsApp service providers, while Infobip (as a Solution Partner) manages WhatsApp messaging services, including everything from initial setup and onboarding to continuous maintenance and support.
 
This introduction outlines the key business and technical steps required for a successful **setup and integration**, as well as the **end-to-end process** for Tech Providers to onboard new businesses.

## Setup and integration overview
 
To start onboarding as a Tech Provider, complete the following setup steps in Meta's developer environment. Each step prepares your business for WhatsApp integration through Infobip.
 
1. Create a business portfolio  
    Start by [creating a business portfolio](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#create-a-business-portfolio-setup) and [registering as a Meta developer](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#register-as-meta-developer-setup).
 
2. Create a Meta app and add the WhatsApp product  
    Set up your [Meta app](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#create-and-set-up-meta-app-setup) to manage your business integration with WhatsApp and [add the WhatsApp product](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#add-whatsapp-product-setup) to your app configuration.
 
3. Complete business verification  
    Go through [Meta's business verification](https://www.facebook.com/business/help/2058515294227817?id=180505742745347) process to activate messaging capabilities.
 
4. Submit app for review  
    Submit your [Meta app for review](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#app-review-setup) to enable WhatsApp messaging permissions.
 
5. Integrate with Infobip  
    Set up Meta's [partner solution integration](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/tech-provider-program/setup-and-integration#partner-solutions-with-infobip-integration) to route your WhatsApp Business Account through our platform.
 
6. Register your WhatsApp sender  
    Complete [Meta’s sender registration process](https://www.infobip.com/docs/whatsapp/get-started/embedded-signup) to activate your WhatsApp number via Infobip.

## Notice for ISVs
 
All Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) must enroll as **Tech Providers** with Meta by **June 30, 2025**, to continue using and offering the WhatsApp channel. This requirement comes from Meta's updated Tech Provider Program.
